Zuuina, Archmagus of Flames

Cheated out of her krewe and her research into harnessing ley-line magic into ones self stolen, Zuuina left Rata Sum to join the Priory to dedicate her time into studying the magicks of the old world. Years have gone by, the forces of Tyria are fighting the Elder Dragons to save their world, yet Zuuina hasn't had a care in the world so long as she was absorbed into her studies of Forgotten and Mursaat tombs. She has found success in her studies and has made a set of gauntlets that allows her to feed off the ley-line energies and use said energy to create a new style of magic. While content with practicing all other kinds of elements and learning their new capabilities, Zuuina felt more in sync with fire, so she channeled her passion into her magic until she became a elementalist that the Priory would recognize and respect before setting off on her journey back home in the Maguuma jungles, proclaiming herself the "Archmagus of Flames". When she arrived home, she saw that her old krewe, the same ones who had stolen her work, were displayed as a holo-statue with a plaque that recognizes them as winners of the Snaff Prize for their theory of "Ley Line Magics and Flesh Attunement" work...her work. In a fit of rage, she walked with one purpose in mind to their new research labs, burning the doors down into molten liquid, only to see them in shock and awe of her presence. Before a single word can be said from either parties, Zuuina channeled her rage into her gauntlets, unleashing a torrent of fire into the research lab, watching her old krewe burn into charred crisps and seeing their stolen research up in flames before disappearing from Rata Sum and consequence of this, from Tyria. After hearing these events, all racial nations were put on high alert, fearing that the pyromaniac asura would pay them a visit. Months have gone by since the arsenic event that transpired. People often talk about the events and would casually say that the local wildfires were Zuuina's work, laughing about it over alcohol whilst making up stories about her. In these times, people would prefer to make light of a situation in hopes of putting the world in some form of ease. For Zuuina's case, wherever she may be, she just wants to see the world burn.
