With the new Requiem armor added, i saw an opportunity to update my Serpant themed look made for Funerary weapons, to something with a bit more... fancy glowing effects ^^
It started out just being replacing Shoulders, gloves and boots with requiem, but then i stumbled upon warbeast jerkin as well. I found that i could make it look like mawdreys magic was being channeled into the armor through small flexible tubes. on top of that it had the correct ratio of metal to make the whole thing fit together even better.
Headpiece ended up being Enchanted dragon horns, as it seemed to match rather well, and i found it fitting that the horns could be some sort of side effect to the magic imbued armor.
As for colors, since the whole thing was meant to fit with Funerary weapons, i have attempted to match the color theme to these.
Glad you like it! :D
I was actually about to post it with a different purple. But when i looked through the screenshots i noticed that it didn't actually match the weapons perfectly the way it seemed to do in the preview window and with the lighting in Lions arch.
Its hard isnt it, im always slightly altering mine because of lighting and me being crazy haha. It matches mawdrey, i think enamelled solitude might match the weapons? Or do like a mix in your purples so it matches depending on lighting.
I use different colors to match depending on material, the ones i settled on seem to work pretty well in most lighting.
Especially the glow was hard to match for this set, as a third of them seemed pink, and another ½ became white(ish) and you couldn't really tell which would be what before previewing them. It left me with very few options. but i think Cobolt which i ended up with works pretty well :)
Since the rest was metal, leather and cloth the colors was only slightly different for the black and gold parts, so it was much easier to just go a bit brighter or darker to make them match.
Your reviews of other armorpieces are incredibly rude, and for someone whose designs are often fragmented and chaotic with no throughline I find it ironic that you tend to have the heaviest criticism. I'm uninspired by your purple glow hue that you overuse in your pieces.
