Baked Sushi Trendspotter | Yup, try playing with the colors a bit. Doing red/black and full T3 is kind of generic but it looks good regardless. |

DioHard Fashionista | You said it... nothing too fancy. It's alright, but almost every charr seems to look like that. |

Sharkey Fashion Guru | You don't need to get rid of the whole thing - the charr heavy t3 is popular for a reason. Primarily aim for a new chest piece, it's tough to play around with dyes when the emblem creates such a stark contrast from the rest of the armor. Unless you wanna Batman. Batcharr. Whatever. |

Nirnaeth Trendspotter | A lot of charr look like this and i don't understand why ppl use such shiney backs or weaps when it just doesn't fit at all with the rest of the look. :/ |

Umpa Lumpa Stylist | Nirnaeth, and this is why there is a big "Help Wanted" icon near the name of the look. Please don't just say "it looks terrible, you suck mate" give me another weapon/dye suggestions.. |

Sharkey Fashion Guru | Responding to Nirnaeth, it's not a charr thing - in reality, most folks tend to do it, especially with most LS back pieces having so much shininess. It's just that when you have a site that focuses on giving mugshots, it's going to be easier to spot shiny back pieces on the race that's hunched over. And the reason for it is pretty obvious - style isn't always about making a perfectly coordinated look. Sometimes it involves showing off the stuff you've picked up along the way, too, especially in the building phases doing that is necessary to find a look that suits you. With your comment you described a problem you have with the look - the shiny doesn't fit. So build on that - should Umpa Lumpa change the gear to fit the shiny, or should Umpa Lumpa change the shiny to fit the gear? In the latter case, my suggestion would be with those dark blood reds. Maybe the chainsaw greatsword if possible? In the case of the former... actually, I'm curious what you come up with. I'd imagine it'd mean either looking into lighter colors to better complement the shininess, or possibly darker colors to provide a contrast that balances the whole thing out. It's tough to pull off with the Sunrise since the colors shift, but again, interested to see the result if you do :) |
