Hylek Fashionista | I absolutely love the glowing here! It sets some nice highlights to your look and makes it quite mystical :D Your weapon-choice is great, especially Ilex and the spectral scepter ^^ The screens are nicely done, fitting to your story. Have a Gold :) |

DeadlyDahlia Stylist | Love it! For some reason I get a Majora's Mask vibe from it. Not sure if that was intentional, but it's the perfect mix of sinister and whimsical. Gold! |

Eremite Fashionista | I've never played that game but searching it, the majora mask physically looks more like a tribal mask in gw2. vibe-wise, yep i would agree there are some similarities! thanks for the thoughts =) |

Katushka Fashion Guru | I can really feel the madness from this. It's amazing :D Are you using ghostly infusion? I think I see it on some screens. And it fits perfectly. Nice start for the new year :) |

Eremite Fashionista | Ty =D ya I got ghostly infusion in there =) Actually regarding the madness, I always wondered for most folks here, do they think of a theme then design the character, or do they design then think of a fitting theme? For this dancer here, I pretty much designed him first without knowing what theme and story to give him...only after I design and take the screens, then I think of a theme and story for him XD I design him, change his glows, choose his weapons, take the screens, then I look at him and say, OKAY, we got a mysterious charmer here. and he is dancing in some of the screens. And he has kind of a dark whimsical vibe. So lets call this a dance of madness XD Very seldom for my looks I think of a theme first then fit a design to it... I wonder how this goes for you? Theme first then design the character, or design first then think of the theme? Kind of like the chicken or egg theory XD |

Katushka Fashion Guru | On the 1st sight I thought he was pointing at the moon on the 5th picture, but he was dancing :D It looks cool. And funny :) I like the way you take your screens. About your question.. in my case it's both. Sometimes I come up with an idea, like with the "Jade dragon" - I knew the outfit should look kind of chinese and was looking for armor pieces, weapons, face etc. that would look that way. And when I was dressing up my thief, I just chose the armor that I liked and long after that I added the daredevil helmet, so sudenly my thief was a ninja :) But when I think about it, I usually like something (piece of armor, weapon, beckpiece,...) and that is my starting point. Then I'm trying a million of options that would look good with that one piece. For example my reaper started with the Reaper's hood. It reminded me of the LOTR scene with hobbits and nazgul (http://media.tumblr.com/2715a25a04d2412aa3a24349d09ff9a7/tumblr_inline_mlg4cpfr0t1qz4rgp.png) and I wanted to make her look this horrifying. I also tried to come up with some "cosplay" for characters from movies or series I watch, but never finished, because the armor options are very limited and nothing seemed ever good enough so in the end I gave up. |
