On the WAY to Fólkvangr*

*In Norse mythology, Fólkvangr (Old Norse "field of the host" or "people-field" or "army-field") is a meadow or field ruled over by the goddess Freyja where half of those that die in combat go upon death, while the other half go to the god Odin in Valhalla.

He died! What happened? The fighting instinct, which had flowed through his blood, left him. At first he was afraid that a second blow would come, but that too left him. He wanted to leave, but there was no strength left in his legs. How could this have happened? How was that possible? He saw the enemy standing above him and looking down at him. There was no hatred. Something else was in his gaze... Then the image of the enemy faded and with it the fear. His thoughts began to fly. He returned to his childhood. A meadow in the sunshine. His home. The last thing he thought was how he ate in the warm kitchen with his children and his wife on a cold, stormy autumn day. The picture faded slowly, but he brought it back again because he was strong. His wife. He smelled her and he felt her warmth. And now he clearly saw her calling him. And he came to her.

A small trace of red blood that flowed to the clear stream. A Einherjar. The warrior who died bravely in battle.
She could see the sun going down between the trees. Finally she lit a torch of many long branches. The smoke moved to the east. Then she began to enumerate the names of the grandfathers of the fathers and finally of the dead themselves. The smoke smelled of juniper. She stopped at each of them and told a story from the lives of the dead. Stories of struggle or death. The westerly wind stopped and the smoke was rising steeply.
It's time to go. I'm here to pick out the bravest of the fallen fighters on the battlefield and bring them to Fólkvangr. It's time to go, warrior.

Apparently some GW2Style users had the same idea with Valkyrie presentation...
I've experimented a lot with colors. Here is a version with Armor colors "swapped": https://i.imgur.com/hkJJ37B.jpg I like it, too, but my taste now color mix meets better. When I created my look, I was wavering between norn and human. Decided then for Human Character, because I found this trouser part fits best for my idea. As for Weapon, Sovereign Pillar Skin is very simple compared to other Sovereign weapons, so I use Azimut Staff.
