A long time ago, back when the great city of Ascalon still boomed with human life, in the small town of Ashford Abbey a girl was born by the name Gabe Fall. Growing up, Gabe often went to visit Gwen, another girl that always seemed to have misplaced her flute and cape, they would play in fields filled of red iris flowers and ever so often Gabe would run off to kill a Skale or two. As they grew older Gabe would venture out further, into the catacombs or towards the Northlands, to find bigger game to kill. Alas, good times never last forever...
Gabe long remembered the day the searing hit, when the charr called forth flaming rocks out of the skies. Mesmerized by the sheer power she vowed that one day she would be so strong that she herself would rain down fire upon her enemies. Having lost track of Gwen, she joined the Ascalon army and began training amongst the great masters of old; Cynn, Mhenlo, Devona, Aidan and Eve. Taking a liking into necromancy and the elements , it wasn't long until she climbed up in the ranks, leading Attacks in the Ruins of Surmia, Nolani Academy and Fort Ranik. Still she always came back to defend the Great Northern Wall, as it was here that her legend truly started. Using battleplans and special tactics, she burned legions upon legions of charr and earned status amongst her friends, who came to call her hyper and nuke-active.
When Rurik left Ascalon she followed, eager to step out into the world and she was amazed by all she found in the shiverpeaks, kryta and eventually the desert. One time even, she came across the lair of the great dragon Glint and story has it, she even sailed towards Chanta, where she fought off armies of Luxons in the wars of the alliance battles. After this it was said she went to Elona, where she met Kormir and helped to defeat Abbadon. Stories say she ended up traveling far into the Eye of the North, where she was finally reunited with Gwen. Where she battled destroyers and even defeated a dragon. but what happened to her in the end... Some say she traveled back to Cantha to infiltrate Luxon tribes, some say she spend her last days in the underworld to train, but no one ever really knew...
Until now...
Deep from within the green and misty waters of Godslost Swamp, the midst of the ruins of the temple of the ages the ground shakes and trembles under the might of the behemoth. Feeling the Mad Kings call, straight out of the underworld she rose upon dreamrider's horse, clothed in orange, yellow and green. The skulls of baby Atxes hanging from a belt of teeth, Dwayna's own gloves stuck around her writsts and on her back, a backpiece crafted by Grenth himself. Now she resides within a small shack the midst of the swamp, but beware on Halloweens eve! For not even the Elder dragons would be able to keep her from joining the festivities~!

Ages ago I created a screenshot of the 'Kurz Witch of AB', my elementalist with some weird armor combiantion and the witches hat in the original Guild Wars. Since it is a halloween masquerade contest I considered creating a reincarnation of my old baby, this time as a Necromancer~! (whole reincarnation theme stuff) Anyways, It was a DISASTER to get all the dyes right, tried several shades, had to buy a few new ones (even one I ended up not using... =_='') Its evil when you got a dye that is slightly off and you need to get a different shade, or switch everything around and and and... And don't get me started on the screenshots! (I think I totally capped my computers memory capacity...) *pets the poor thing*
Anyways I am SO happy with the end result right now~!
Specially because of the Aetherblade top, I've been struggeling for so long to be able to find something to match it with because it's hard to get a decent pair of pants, imagine my suprise when the dyes on the primitive legwraps turned out to have a rather simular colorscheme and shading!
Spend a good while trying to find a good mask too, tried several ones and eventually manage to get the dyes working for the masquerade one.
(Fitting name considering the contest X3)
Also, since the white on the back bugs me (see back/side picture), I wanted a backpiece and naturally the only one that looked cool, had to be expensive Y.Y Now I have to thank a friend of mine because he helped me get 15 bolts of damask without me having to wait 8 hours to be able to craft ascended materials. But it (would've been and) was all worth it!
Dyes used: Enameled Legacy, Enameled Generation/Khaki, Flame, Algae, Ivory, Antique Bronze, Shadow Yellow, Lemon Tint, Caustic and Sand.
*P.S. If anyone is wondering about the pose on the main picture, its an animation from skill 3 on the enchanted broom.
